Cyprus, 1936. In the midst of a raging tuberculosis epidemic, a dedicated young doctor seeks inventive ways to save his patients’ lives and protect them from the disease’s social stigma.

The film is adapted from a short autobiographical story by Dr. Takis Evangelides, a Cypriot lung specialist who was a pioneer in the fight against TB when the island was still a British colony.
